According to an article in The Heritage of Chilton County, Alabama on page 74, the family believes that some of the unmarked graves in this cemetery are: Points Ousley (1790 GA - 1863); Martha Tingle Ousley (1793 SC - 1863); John Ousley (1812 GA - 1841); and Martha Tingle (1760 NC - 1852). The article also states that the slaves of the Ousley family are buried outside the current fenced area.

According to an article in The Heritage of Autauga County, Alabama on page 187, C.T. Ousley was Charles Thomas Ousley, and his first wife was Sarah Jane Shepherd. Sarah Jane was the daughter of David and Jane Parker Shepherd and were married in Autauga Co. on Feb 2, 1854. After the death of Sarah Jane, C. T. married her sister Angeline Shepherd.
